Article 1: Photography in the Gallery

1. Photography and videography within the Gallery (including from outside the Gallery) are generally permitted as long as they are for personal use. Visitors who take photos and videos must understand that copyrighted works such as exhibits may be captured in the photos and videos, and must be careful not to infringe on the copyright and moral rights of the captured exhibits (for example, by crediting the author of the work when using the photo or video).

2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if the Gallery determines that any of the following cases apply, it will suspend or prohibit the photography and use of the captured photos and videos. In addition, if any of the following cases apply and the Gallery deems it necessary, it may check the captured photos and videos and delete the photo and video data.

(1) When taking photos or videos for commercial use (including use in flyers, websites, promotional materials, and other advertisements) without the Gallery's permission or beyond the scope of permission.
(2) When moving the Gallery's exhibits, goods, or equipment without the Gallery's permission.
(3) When using a flash, tripod, or selfie stick.
(4) When taking photos or videos of works or goods other than the Gallery's exhibits in a manner that could be misconstrued as being a collaboration with the Gallery's exhibits or the Gallery, without the Gallery's permission or beyond the scope of permission.
(5) When live streaming without the Gallery's permission or beyond the scope of permission.
(6) When there is a possibility of infringing on the copyright, moral rights of authors, or the portrait rights or privacy of others.
(7) When using the captured photos or videos after altering them in a way that could damage or change the image of the Gallery.
(8) Any other act that the Gallery deems to be equivalent to the preceding items.

3. For photography and live streaming that the Gallery determines to be for commercial use, for promotional purposes of works, or otherwise outside the scope of personal use, prior written permission from the Gallery is required. Even with permission for photography, the photographer must follow the instructions and guidance of the Gallery as stipulated in Article 3 of these rules. In addition, if the Gallery determines that any of the reasons in the preceding items apply, it may revoke the permission granted in this section at any time.

Visitors shall follow the instructions and guidance of the Gallery's officers and employees unless there is a reasonable reason not to do so.

Article 4: Disclaimer and Damages
