A mini gallery at the back of the 1F lobby
MATSUNAMI Gorilla of gorilla's work, which lightly destroys the order of the human body, encompasses aesthetics, philosophy, and primal human impulses mediated by "muscle."
The proliferating muscles, reconstructed limbs, and brushwork filled with heat and playfulness depict the boundary between life and absurdity through a unique coexistence of humor and seriousness.

When asked why I draw buff figures, it's because it just feels right. To me, a drawing of an average-bodied person feels like something is missing.
Something... or rather, clearly, muscles.
Six-pack abs weren't enough, so I kept adding more.
In a drawing, I can add as many muscles as I want, so I lost all restraint.
I added more arms and legs. I made the neck longer. And so, I increased the total muscle mass.
Now! Let's go beyond the human realm and draw something inhuman!
