Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1976. She began creating art in her childhood while coping with physical limitations.
A contemporary artist who consistently depicts a colorful worldview rooted in fantasies and dream memories.
In this exhibition, she presents changes in her motifs from recent years, marking a 30-year artistic career, and a new exploration of "novelty."
A myriad of images wandering between the known and the unknown are embodied and emerge as reality—her works—for the artist.

Born in December 1976 in Nagano Prefecture. Diagnosed with developmental dysplasia of the hip at three months old.
My body was gradually consumed by illness, and by the time I was old enough to understand, I suffered from severe joint pain. Because of this, I often refused to go to school and shut myself in at home. Using my caterpillar-like fingers, I created works using familiar objects like newspapers and paper clay. I became so absorbed in arts and crafts that I forgot the pain.
I believe that was the beginning of the art I create today.
My teenage years were dominated by hospitalizations and surgeries, and years passed without art. I started art again during a bedridden life, an experience rare for my generation.
The common themes in my works and creative activities are "A Colorful World of Fantasy" and "The World of Dreams Seen While Sleeping."
Since childhood, I have loved fantasizing, having delusions in my brain, and remembering the dreams I see while sleeping. These have been the origin of my creations.
I continue to turn worlds of fantasy and dreams into works of art. Even if the "Colorful World of Fantasy" and "The World of Dreams Seen While Sleeping" that I paint are incredibly unrealistic, for me, they are reality and everyday life.
My wish is to exhibit my works extensively both in Japan and abroad, and to have various people view them.
And above all, I would be overjoyed if those who see my works feel even a little brighter.
