JETT SEIYA is an artist who continues to pursue the realm of expression beyond the music scene.
In recent years, he has been attracting a great deal of attention from both Japan and abroad as an expressive artist.
He has been developing a production project called "LOVE&SPACEPEACE," using rock culture and his own way of life as materials. In this exhibition, as part of that project, he will present a multifaceted expression that transcends visual art and crosses over music and space.
His work may be perceived as "pop art."
However, his body of work, which pioneers a "third domain" of contemporary expression that does not fit into existing frameworks such as visual art and music, is the very embodiment of JETT SEIYA's way of life, and it presents an expression that embodies true rock in a new context through rock symbols and a performative personality.
In recent years, the contemporary art world has seen a movement that encourages a reconsideration of the limitations and exclusivity of categorization, and JETT SEIYA's spirituality resonates with this trend.
His body of work, centered on his alter ego, the rock and roll drum monster "DRUMUTANT," uses a formative language derived from rock music while also including a sharp critical perspective on the conventional art system and genre classification.
In this exhibition, in addition to his representative work, the "Jet Paint Leather Jacket" series, we will also exhibit drums, guitars, and leather jackets actually used at live venues, as well as hand-printed T-shirts and original illustrations that he has created up to now, aiming for an exhibition that transcends the boundaries of art fans and music fans.
In addition, the venue, which includes the sound experiment work "JETT BEAT CLUB SESSION 2025," can also be experienced as interdisciplinary art by allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the work.
Please come and experience JETT SEIYA's cosmic space.
