Tsukino Kaeru is a contemporary artist who continues to create a variety of mixed media works, mainly using transparent resin and various other materials.
The way in which disparate materials individually display their charm at his hands and weave together a unique world invites the viewer into a scene where the diversity of the world and different cultures are fused.
In recent years, Tsukino Kaeru has expanded his activities and gained a high reputation overseas, including in Taiwan and China. This exhibition is a solo show filled with thoughts that transcend time, as it is being held in his hometown of Hachioji, at an art gallery that was coincidentally built on the school route he took every day as a student.
This time, the theme "Toy Box of Memories" brings together a collection of works, from his latest to his most confident, centered on expressions spun from the precious emotions that Tsukino Kaeru has held in his heart since childhood.
