SHOGEN Solo Exhibition
"SHOGEN, the only foreigner who was allowed to go to Africa alone and train in painting while living with the villagers.
After returning to Japan, he pursued his own SHOGEN style based on the spirit of Tinga Tinga, a painting that makes people happy.
His unique expression is loved by a wide range of people regardless of age or genre.
Furthermore, he is not satisfied with the current situation and is challenging new expressions. In producing this special exhibition, works that have newly sprung up from within SHOGEN have been brought in.
The new work there is his identity.
His own powerful soul of the earth, connected from the African sky, spreads all over the campus.
SHOGEN's new ground that continues to the next step!
